Silence, that we enjoy, can be associated with still water, soundless movement of the snail and contemplation of the natural beauty. It’s the state of immersion into meditating, when the operations of mind pause, and a deep calm and serenity ensue. The painting is filled with symbols of quietness, pleasure and peace.
